Thank you for visiting the web site of Ennis Evangelical Church (EEC), an independent, non-denominational Bible church serving the people of Clare with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This site is designed to give you a brief summary of who we are, what we believe, the services we provide and how to find us. For contact information, see the bottom of our website.
The News & Events pages will keep you up-to-date with what's happening, both at church and in the surrounding area and you can also read or download our monthly newsletters from this section of the site.
If you're a broadband browser, you can listen to recent & some older sermons and selected Bible study teachings (not recommended for dial-up connection).
If you are seeking God, we have included some helpful information as well as providing a page of useful links to other websites.
A diary of past events, selected newsletter articles and other contributions can be found on our old blog. A new blog is now part of this site and this will supersede the old one now.
Please take a minute to answer our survey (click here to open the survey in a new page).
Let us know if we can help you through prayer, counsel or in better understanding God's Word.
Who We Are
Last Updated on Sunday, 15 January 2012 07:13 Tuesday, 17 May 2011 06:56
And He is the head of the body, the church. Col 1:18a
Ennis Evangelical Church is located on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare, home to some of God's most wonderful creation.
All our teaching and practice is based on the Bible and we are committed to be a God-centred church. We seek to help the local community by pointing people to the Lord Jesus Christ.
EEC began in 1977 as a Bible study and prayer group. This eventually became known as the Ennis Christian Fellowship. As the work of God in Ennis grew the name Ennis Evangelical Church was chosen as it describes exactly what the church is:
- Ennis is where we meet
- Evangelical means Gospel, which is what we believe and proclaim
- Church is what God has made us - a gathering of His people
