Baptism FAQS

one Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:5

Christian (or Believers') Baptism

Baptism is more than a trivial ceremony dating back to the early Christian church, it is one of the Lord's most significant and solemn commands.  Jesus Himself was baptised and, through His disciples, baptised more followers than John the Baptist during His ministry (John 4:1-2).  One of the last things Jesus said to His followers was, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).

As baptism is so important it is essential for every Christian to know what the Bible teaches concerning it.  Click on the link to the left to find out more.

If you feel that you are ready to be baptised, contact one of the Elders who will be happy to discuss it with you.
