Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jn 3:3

Four Things God Wants You To Know

You need to be saved.
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”.  Romans 3 v 23

You cannot save yourself.
”By grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves.  It is the gift of God, not by works so that no-one can boast”.  Ephesians 2 v 8 – 9

God has provided for your salvation.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”.  John 3 v 16

The Lord Jesus is able to save and keep.
“Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them”.  Hebrews 7 v 25

 Therefore

Repent - "God commands all men everywhere to repent" Acts 17 v 30

Believe - "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved - you and your household".  Acts 16 v 31

Confess your sins to God - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness".  1 John 1 v 9

Acknowledge Christ before men - "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved".  Romans 10 v 9 - 10

Ready to be Saved?

Find a quiet place to speak to Jesus about your decision and pray along the following lines:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

I am sorry for all the things I’ve done wrong in my life.  I ask for your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong.  Thank you for dying on the cross to set me free from my sins.  Please come into my life and fill me with the Holy Spirit to help me follow you as my Lord and Saviour, whatever the cost, forever.

Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

Welcome to the family of Jesus!  May God bless you.
