The Lord has brought people from all over the world to make up the Ennis Evangelical Church!  Together we are learning to be a family in Christ Jesus.  Below we bring you news of God's amazing work in Ennis and the surrounding area and list up-and-coming events.

News

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns." Isa 52:7

Poland Trip

We've heard that at least one youngster came to the Lord as a result of the witness borne by the young people on this trip - how valuable is that!  I hope to post more wonderful news when the lads are back and have had a chance to reflect on all that was done by the Lord.

Visiting Speakers for August

The month of August will see two guest speakers at Ennis Evangelical Church.  First, on Sunday, 15th August, we welcome back Ben Power from Kilkenny Presbyterian Church and the following week, Sunday 22nd August, we play host to Dave Stevens from Limerick.

Ben will speak from Ephesians 4:1-16 on the important topic of Unity, whilst Dave's sermon is entitled :"The Book with an RSVP".  An intriguing title and if it is anything like the teaching we received at our last weekend away we will surely be challenged!

Spreading the Word

How about coming along and joining us on the streets of Ennis?  Or getting involved in the door-to-door work, distributing the 4you magazine or other printed materials?  Please speak to Vincent or another of the Elders if you are interested in sharing your love for Jesus on the streets.  If you could spare some time to get involved going door-to-door, then please speak with Mossy.

We are going out again onto the streets of Ennis on Saturday 31st July.  But don't let that stop you!  If the Lord calls you to go out and witness, obey Him and go!  With more willing to step out regularly, we could increase our witness of what the Lord has done for us to a weekly event!  Please see Carrie's article in the January newsletter and speak to Vincent if you feel the call!

Could you tell someone about Jesus?  Could you point the way?  You can do it anytime & anywhere!  Every time you speak with another person, you have an opportunity.  Take a look at our printable tracts or see Margaret or Maddy to see what other resources are available to help.

New Building

Tracts - as well as the various leaflets and newsletters available on the literature page, you can find some of the tracts we have been using for the street work in Ennis.  Please feel free to download these and use them in your calling to 'Make Him Known'.
